The information about Philip Pettit and David Estlund
need not be published on the “Sentanken” website,
because each has a website including enough information.
The information of those who have such a website is
sometimes omitted from the "Sentanken" website.
If you are interested, you can add links to their websites.
Surprisingly enough, the past tanner lectures are available
on-line now. Here is Nussbaum's, and many others'.
http://www.tannerlectures.utah.edu/nopq.html
The section one of her lecture is named "Capabilities and
Disabilities: justice for Mentally Disabled Citizens."
Nussbaum's point in this lecture is:
"…several aspects of the contract tradition seem problematic
when we approach three of the most urgent problems of justice
in our time: justice for people with disabilities (especially
mental disabilities), justice across national boundaries,
and justice for nonhuman animals." (p. 415)
Nussbaum on this point is examined in Henry S. Richardson's
draft "Rawlsian Social-Contract Theory and the Severely
Disabled: A Response to Nussbaum." I have it, but of course
do not have the time to read it.
