It has already been more than half of a year since Prof. Wanhong Zhang passed away on 29 June 2024. Prof. Zhang was a professor of Wuhan University School of Law and the Director of Wuhan East-lake Institute for Social Advancement.He also contributed greatly to the activities of the Institute forrs Vivendi.

In 2019, he hosted the East Asia Disability Studies Forum in Wuhan. It was so lucky to have had the opportunity to meet him just before COVID-19 made face-to-face interactions difficult.
