Subject: [cprr-news] CPRR'S PETITION GOAL - ONE
MILLION SIGNATURES BY SEPTEMBER 1, 2000
CPRR'S PETITION GOAL - ONE MILLION SIGNATURES BY
SEPTEMBER 1, 2000
The Council for Palestinian Restitution and
Repatriation (CPRR) challenges
each person reading this to personally collect 100
signatures or more for
the ongoing global Right of Return petition drive.
Over 80,000 individuals and 225 affiliated
organizations have already signed
the petition which affirms that:
"Every Palestinian has a legitimate, individual
right to return to his or
her original home and to absolute restitution of his
or her property."
As well as around the world, CPRR's petition is
being circulated
house-by-house and camp-by-camp in Palestine,
Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.
Your help is urgently needed to achieve CPRR's goal
of one million
signatures by September 1, 2000.
Only with your support will CPRR be able to raise
the continuing plight of
the Palestinian refugees before the international
community at this
important time.
Please print out the petition and distribute it in
your community. English
and Arabic versions are available from the printable
materials section on
our website at:
P.O. Box 21520, Washington D.C. 20009, USA.
