◆Announcement of this Event
With both the recent development of medical technology and revolution of medical care and welfare systems, the number of people living in the community who need medical care such as aspirators and tube feeding has been increasing. Medical care is a serious problem for various people such as children with severe disabilities, patients with intractable diseases, people with acquired disabilities and the aged. The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare set up a separate meeting toward the acceptance of helpers' using respitators in 2003. Then the Ministry officials have issued instructions several times so that medical care can be accepted. In 2010, practical discussions, such as instruction of nurses and training sessions for care staff, have just started. Now is the momentous step for medical care at home and welfare.
This time we invite Mr.SUGIMOTO Takeo, who has tackled medical care problems and Ms.KAWAGUCHI Yumiko, who has participated in discussion of the government's review meeting and ask them to lecture the current condition and challenges of medical care from each standpoint etc.
