The main theme of this lecture was "Discwoman and Room 4 Resistance: International Cooperation for Diversification of Club".
In this lecture, I settled on the subject matter of the activities and the significance of seeking a way to change the system of club music scene that is practiced by Discwoman (New York) and Room 4 Resistance (Berlin).
Each of them aims to dismantle the discriminatory system of gender/sexuality/race/ethnicity in the scene and establish diversity. It is noteworthy that they
not only practice it at parties they organize, but also investigate a situation and engage in educational activities on this issue through utilizing the diversified media.

On August 19th 2016, Room 4 Resistance invited the Discwoman collective from New York for the panel discussion "How to bring politics (back) to the dance floor? / Political activism in Dance Music today". All guests of this panel are as follows.
Guests on panel: Frankie Hutchinson (Discwoman), rRoxymore (R4R), Luz (R4R), LCavaliero Mann (Artistic director / SchwuZ), The Black Madonna (Smart Bar), Avril Ceballos (Cómeme / futura). Moderator : Sky Deep (Reveller Records, Reclaim the Beats, Female:Pressure)
The platform of this meeting has enormous significance in queer/POC feminism within club culture. They exchanged information, shared awareness of the issues and supported each other's efforts beyond geographical distances. It marks a new chapter in the history of DIY activism.
The necessity for acts of politicization of dance floor is true worldwide. Therefore, in response to this effort, we should seek a new way to change our scene in the framework of Asia.
