We, Global COE Program Ars Vivendi, would like to let you know the
following four news.
1) Since this is the final year for our Global COE program, we have
had some external evaluations of our program conducted by both the
Japanese and foreign researchers. The following is the external
evaluation conducted by Prof. Colin Barnes.
2) Dr. Sarasa Kai, our postdoctoral fellow, writes about the
supportive activities of deaf and hard-of-hearing.
3) We held the Second Korea Japan Disability Studies Forum on
4) Mr. Kaname Uemura's paper, "The Meaning of self presenting as
a 'Cyborg'," appears in The Disability Archive UK.
