Ars Vivendi E-mail Magazine No.52 (June 30, 2011) ================================================================= We, Global COE Program Ars Vivendi, would like to let you know the following three news. 1) We have made an English-version page of History of the Japanese Sanitary Administration Viewed from Technology. http://www.arsvi.com/b2010/1103yy-e.htm 2) We are planning to launch Ars Vivendi Journal, a new multilanguage electronic publication soon. We will let you know its details soon. http://www.arsvi.com/m/av-e.htm 3) Our program members have conducted various kinds of global research activities. The following is the brief report written by Professor Kozo Watanabe. One of our missions is to train young researchers so that they can be active internationally. I invited Professor Alain Caillé, a eminent leader of MAUSS (Mouvement Anti-Utilitariste en Sciences Sociales), and had an international workshop on July 12, 2010. Three young researchers of Ars Vivendi Program conducted their presentation either in French or in English. Having presentation and discussion in foreign languages is necessary for young researchers and I hope this workshop was the excellent opportunity for the three young researchers. http://www.arsvi.com/a/20100712-e.htm Kozo Watanabe *Please click below for more detailed information about our program. http://www.arsvi.com/a/index.htm http://www.ritsumei-arsvi.org/en/ We are eager to promote collaborative research projects with disabled patients' advocacy groups, non-profit organizations, as well as domestic and international researchers.
