We, Global COE Program Ars Vivendi, would like to let you know the
following three news.

1) We have made an English-version page of Hollow Boat:
Novel Collection of MATSUI Taro, a Japanese Writer in Brazil

2) We held the special lecture series by Prof. Colin Barnes from
September 21 to 24.

This visit was introduced on the homepage of the Centre for
Disability Studies at the University of Leeds, UK.

If you are interested in the information on disability studies,
the Centre also has an email list and you can subscribe for free
of charge.

3) We would like to let you know about the following two events.
3-1) We co-hosted a study group for considering regional life,
"Current Condition and Challenges of Medical Care at Home" on
October 23.

3-2) Concerning the workshop held at the Unievrsity of Bergamo
on September 17 and 18, we have posted comments from our students
who participated in it.

We are eager to promote collaborative research projects with
disabled patients' advocacy groups, non-profit organizations, as
well as domestic and international researchers.
