We, Global COE Program Ars Vivendi, would like to let you know the
following four news.

First, we have been making an English-version page of poverty.

Second, the presentation papers of Special Public Opening Symposium
"After Metahistory: Lecture on Postmodernism by Professor Hayden WHITE"
are now available.

Third, we have the second workshop with Professor Philippe Van Parijs
in January 25, 2009.

Fourth, Professor Tateiwa, our program leader, was invited to give a speech at
the international seminar "Issues of Euthanasia in South Korea and Japan".
We will let you know as soon as we make its English-version page.

We are eager to promote collaborative research projects with patients'
advocacy groups, non-profit organizations, as well as domestic and
international researchers, apply for competitive research grants and conduct
research projects commissioned by governmental and private institutions.
