We, Global COE Program Ars Vivendi, would like to let you know the
following three news.

First, we support the 6th Annual Convention of Japan Society of
Disability Studies on September 26 & 27, 2009 as co-host.

Second, our collaboative research activity with Japan ALS
Association ("Research on the Establishment of a Network for
Patients with Rare Diseases in East Asia") is introduced in
the newsletter (Issue 26) of International Alliance of ALS/MND
Associations.

We are eager to promote collaborative research projects with patients'
advocacy groups, non-profit organizations, as well as domestic and
international researchers, apply for competitive research grants and conduct
research projects commissioned by governmental and private institutions.
